Definition
Self Reflection is evaluating and giving serious thought to why you think, feel, and act the way you do. It allows you to understand what drives you, it allows you to dig deep into your thoughts and emotions, and it helps you make the necessary changes to improve your life and develop YOU.
Why Is Self Reflection Important?
It allows you to gain perspective on what matters.
It helps you respond more effectively. Our words and actions have consequences. Learn to be less reactive and more in tune with your emotions.
It helps us better understand ourselves and possibly others. It’s time to get to know who you truly are and what you truly want out of your life.
Self Reflection is not an easy thing to practice, but it’s necessary to help you along your journey. It’s okay to hit the pause button and figure out what you want and need in life; you owe it to yourself. Be gentle with yourself, love yourself, honor yourself, and focus on your needs and wants. You deserve it.
